During Diabetes Awareness Month, Heeling Diabetes, Inc. embarked on their first medical mission to Tanzania, Africa, to offer free health screenings and diabetic supplies to the rural communities of Kisarawe and Bagamoyo. The two-day medical mission concluded on World Diabetes Day and was able to assist over 200 people, identifying more than 20 diabetics. The organization's social media campaign successfully fundraised money and medical supplies for the underserved communities, making their mission a success.
